Frontend Language Switcher

Floating switcher behavior, transitions and persistence.

The floating switcher is the visitor-facing language control.

Configure it under Instant Languages → Settings → Frontend switcher.

Options include:

• enable/disable switcher
• remember selected language on the device
• position: top/bottom + left/right
• transition duration

Instant delivery

The switcher uses translations already stored in WordPress. Changing language should therefore not wait for DeepL or Google.

Browser history

In URL modes that change the URL, the switcher updates browser history so back/forward navigation can remain language-aware without requiring a full page reload for every switch.

Dynamic content

The frontend binder can re-apply translations after delayed or dynamically inserted builder content appears. Mutation-based rebinding helps with tabs, accordions and some third-party widgets.
