Global Strings

Menus, site identity, widgets and reusable strings.

Open Instant Languages → Strings to manage reusable text that is not tied to one page segment.

Global Strings may include:

• navigation menu labels
• site title
• site tagline
• widget text
• header/footer text
• Elementor Theme Builder template strings
• SEO fields stored through the plugin's string repository

Why strings are separate

A menu label such as Contact Us can appear on every page. Storing it once as a global string is more efficient than creating a duplicate page segment for every occurrence.

Translation workflow

Global String translations use the same publication statuses as page translations. They can be:

• manually edited
• filled from Translation Memory
• queued for automatic translation
• safely bulk-published
