REST API

Built-in public/admin REST endpoints.

The plugin registers REST routes under:

/wp-json/ist/v1/

GET /ist/v1/languages

Public endpoint returning enabled language metadata.

Typical fields:

The endpoint does not expose provider credentials or admin-only settings.

GET /ist/v1/admin/languages

Administrator endpoint returning the full configured language collection. Requires the manage_options capability.

Extending the API

When adding custom endpoints, follow the same WordPress patterns:

• explicit namespace/version
• permission callback
• sanitized/validated request data
• no provider secrets in public responses
